OPPORTUNITY FOR LEARNING
ATTENTION YOUNG SCIENTISTS/RESEARCHERS
The Institute is organizing following two very important events which, among others, intend to ignite and nurture the young talent from the region by way of providing learning opportunity and becoming part of global network of specialists. A total of 10 seats (each event) have specifically been reserved for dynamic young scientists and researchers from the Western Himalaya (i.e., Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir). Those interested are required to apply in prescribed format by April 24, 2012.
The format for application and details regarding each event are available in the Institutes website [http://gbpihed.gov.in]. Considering limited numbers of seats available, the final selection of participants will be made on merit basis, through a committee whose decision would be final.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR THE APPLICANTS
How to Apply:
Dully filled applications (in prescribed format available in the Institute web site) may please be submitted to the Director, G. B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora, 263 643 (eMail: psdir@gbpihed.nic.in; cc to: ranbeerrawal4@gmail.com). Duly filled and signed applications should be sent through eMail/speed post. Incomplete and applications received after last date of receipt will not be considered.
Obligations:
The candidates applying for participation in these events should ensure proper permission of leave/tour from his/her organization.
Important Dates:
The last date for receiving the applications (by post or eMail): April 24, 2012.
Results announcement for selected participants: April 30, 2012.
